SEED MARKETING

  • The marketing team of IFFDC always works in close contact with the farmers and the sale points. The marketing team provides valuable information to the farmer for helping them in optimizing their output.
  • IFFDC is strengthening the Cooperative through the marketing of seed which is done through cooperative channel preferably.
  • To increase production and productivity of crops, timely supply of Certified, Hybrids and Vegetable Seeds to the farmers of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Karnataka states are being ensured by IFFDC through following channels :
    • Primary Farm Forestry Cooperative Societies (PFFCS).
    • Primary Livelihood Development Cooperative Societies (PLDCS).
    • IFFDC Agro-forestry Service Centers (IAFSC).
    • IFFDC Kissan Seva Kendra (KSKs) in Uttar Pradesh.
    • IFFCO Farmers Service Centers (FSCs).
    • State Cooperative Federations.
    • Krya Vikrya Sahakari Samities (KVSS).
    • Primary Agriculture Cooperatives (PACS)
    • IFFDC’s own outlets at Seed Processing Units
    • Any Other Village level Cooperatives.
    • IFFCO E-Bazar.
  • During the year 2021-22, total 4.02 lakhs quintal Certified Seed of  Cereals, Pulses and Oilseed & Fodder have been sold by IFFDC.
  • During the year 2021-22,  total 27652 Kg of vegetable seeds of 28 different crops have also been made available to farmers.
