LIVELIHOOD ENTREPRENEURS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (LEDP)

The Livelihood Entrepreneur Development Projects-Sagar and Satna (M.P.) are being implemented by IFFDC with support from NABARD in the area of Surkhi Ghanna, Dist. Sagar and Amiriti, Block Majhgawan, Dist. Satna (M.P.). The objective of the project is to develop entrepreneurs for sustainable livelihood. The progress of major activities is as follows:

l   For Income Generation, 30 Sewing Machines have been provided to SHG's members.

l   For Skill Development, 7 pieces of training on tailoring for 15 days period have been completed in Sagar and Satna (M.P.) in which, 210 women have been trained on the stitching of cloths.

l   24 Tool Kits of tailoring have been provided to 24 trained members. Some women have started cloth stitching work at their homes and generating income for their livelihood also link with the Local School for Stitching School dress.

l   “International Women's Day” has been celebrated at Sagar in which, about 115 Women members of SHGs participated. Director, IFFDC, DDM, NABARD and Branch Manager, Madhyanchal Gramin Bank honored the 5 SHG members for their excellent Income Generation Activities.

l   Organised a one-day exposure visit for Self Help Groups at Deen Dayal Research Institute, Chitrakoot (M.P.). 25 SHG members participated in the exposure visit. They have learned about Pickle making, Murabba making, Papad making and Aonla Supari making, etc.
